The Blade® Eclipse 360 combines a fully-molded EPO body with futuristic looks and a high-performance airframe to deliver a unique blend of hovering, scale-like, sport, and aerobatic flying capabilities for intermediate to experienced heli pilots.
An innovative blend of futuristic looks including a fully molded and painted EPO body wrapped around a high-performance airframe makes the Blade® Eclipse 360 an eye-catching addition to any RC pilot’s collection. It’s designed to be capable of smooth hovering plus scale-like and sport flying for intermediate pilots, yet is also capable of aerobatics and even mild 3D in the hands of experienced pilots. The expertly-tuned FC6250HX flybarless control system includes optional-use SAFE technology for angle limits and automatic self-leveling to help prevent crashes in Normal mode, and no limits in all other flight modes – plus Panic Recovery to “bail out” at the push of a button if you ever need it! The powerful brushless main and tail motors are connected to a Spektrum Dual Smart ESC that delivers real-time telemetry data to AirWare™ equipped transmitters, and they’re compatible with common and popular 3S 2200–3200mAh batteries. Digital, metal-geared servos, an aluminum head block, and carbon fiber main rotor blades deliver reliable and precise control for the factory-assembled airframe. The lightweight yet durable body is equipped with LED navigation and landing lights along with hard mounting points for the low-profile skids that provide a streamlined “gear up” look, or you can install the included wheel set for a different look and ground handling experience. And it’s all delivered in a model that’s ready to bind to your favorite Spektrum transmitter to offer a unique helicopter flying experience you can’t get anywhere else!
Skill Level 2 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots with some experience and the skills to assemble and/or set up and fly similar class models. Although the Eclipse 360 is equipped with optional-use SAFE technology, it’s not a suitable first-ever RC helicopter for new pilots or “next step after a trainer” model for low-time RC pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly Collective Pitch (CP) helicopters like the Blade 230, 330, Fusion 360, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the Eclipse 360.
Already own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed, so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!
The factory-installed and expertly-tuned FC6250HX flybarless flight controller features exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® technologies. Optional-use SAFE technology features angle limits and automatic self-leveling to help prevent crashes in Normal mode. AS3X smooths out the effects of wind and turbulence with no limits or self-leveling in all other flight modes so you can fly inverted and perform aerobatics too. Plus, you can use Panic Recovery to “bail out” at the push of a button if you ever need it!
The Eclipse 360 is equipped with a Spektrum Smart ESC, flight controller, and a receiver that provides – with Smart and non-Smart batteries – real-time overall flight battery voltage, motor RPM, and other telemetry information to compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, the iX12 to 20, and others) while you fly.
Digital, metal-geared cyclic servos, an aluminum head block, and carbon fiber main rotor blades deliver excellent durability and precise control.
The collective pitch main rotor mechanics offer smooth control to deliver a unique blend of hovering, scale-like, sport, and aerobatic flying capabilities.
The powerful brushless main and tail motors are connected to a factory-installed Spektrum Dual Smart ESC and are compatible with common and popular 3S 2200–3200mAh batteries.
The lightweight yet durable body is molded from EPO and fully-painted to provide a unique and futuristic look. It’s also equipped with LED navigation and landing lights for improved visibility.
Factory-installed low-profile skids offer a streamlined “gear up” look and work great for takeoffs and landings on smooth surfaces. Or you can install the included optional-use wheel set for a different look and ground handling experience on smooth, grass, and other surfaces.
The Eclipse 360 arrives 100% factory-assembled and nearly ready to fly right out of the box! It’s equipped with industry-leading Spektrum™ 2.4GHz technology that binds to your 6+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® equipped transmitter so you can be flying in almost no time after opening the box.
